Learn to play in a relaxed, professional atmosphere! Jensen Music offers lessons to over 600 students each week and has 18 qualified instructors in our four locations. Our teaching staff consists of experienced people representing a wide variety of playing styles including folk, rock, jazz, classical, blues, country & bluegrass.
Our lessons are for beginning to advanced students, both children and adults.
Our lessons are taught in our in-store studios.
We offer lessons daily and are scheduled at a time convenient to you.
Sign up in person or over the phone. Be sure to tell us your skill level and the music direction you wish to take so we can place you with the best teacher.
Lesson Materials needed:
1. A playable instrument (we’ll be happy to take a look at your guitar, bass or other stringed instrument for you at no charge)
2. Instructor recommended equipment such as tuners, metronomes, straps, picks, strings, stands, drumsticks, brushes, cowbells, drum keys and practice pads
3. Learning materials such as manuscript paper, song books, chord books, scale books and CDs
Lessons are scheduled by calendar month. Payment is due at the beginning of your first lesson, then at the last lesson of the month as payment in advance for the following month.
Our instructors are reserving time and studio space for you at a certain time each week. Jensen Music Studios has a 100% make-up policy. If you cannot attend your lesson, you are responsible for paying the full month’s tuition and arranging a make-up lesson with your instructor.
