Give your kids a summer to remember!
Jensen’s RockCamp is a full-day week long music camp that teaches kids the basics of playing the electric guitar. Not only will your child have fun learning to play music, each student who attends Jensen’s RockCamp gets a brand new electric guitar or free $50 Jensen Music gift certificate. All RockCamp sessions end with a performance on Friday afternoon. Parents, friends and relatives are invited to come see the concert on our MainStage. Each RockCamp is lead by a qualified teacher and rock musician who has toured across the US and beyond with his band. Your child will learn hands-on experience of what it takes to be a music performer from someone who’s done it!

This summer I am proud to be teaching Jensen’s RockCamp for a second time! I help kids learn the basics of playing the electric guitar, using amplifiers and other equipment, and on becoming a performing musician. My qualifications come from over 13 years of playing the guitar and other instruments. I have played well over 100 shows and concerts in a number of bands, primarily in the rock and punk genres. My experience as a performing musician has taken me on several tours across the United States, Europe, and Mexico. In addition to my musical experience I have studied at UC Berkeley & UCSB, earning a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Masters Degree in Education. I currently teach first and second grade at Ventura Charter School and a weekly Garage Band class to middle school age students. My goal with RockCamp is to provide a fun yet challenging learning experience for young people that will make it a summer to remember! Are you ready to rock!?
